On the auspicious day of Diwali, we perform the sacred Lakshmi, Ganesha, and Kubera Pooja with devotion and reverence.

  • The ideal idol/images will be Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Ganesha, and Kubera.
  • Kalash Filled with Water/Gangajal, mango leaves, and a coconut placed on top.
  • Offerings should be Flowers, garlands, betel leaves, betel nuts, fruits, and sweets. The other offerings should be Diya (lamp), incense sticks, camphor, turmeric, vermillion (Kumkum), rice grains, coins, and sandalwood paste.
  • Wear clean, preferably new, traditional clothes in yellow, pink, gold, or green to symbolize purity and devotion.
  • Lakshmi and Ganesha’s pooja needs to be done on this day.
  • Begin by lighting a diya and offering prayers to Lord Ganesha – the remover of obstacles.
  • Recite the Ganesh Mantra: “Om Gan Ganapataye Namah”
  • Sprinkle Gangajal (holy water) in and around the pooja area to purify the surroundings.
  • Draw a small rangoli or swastika on the altar using rice flour or turmeric paste.
  • Place the Kalash near the idols. Fill it with water, add a coin, rice grains, and mango leaves. Place a coconut on top, symbolizing abundance and fertility.
  • Offer prayers and devotion to Lakshmi Ji, Ganesh Ji, and Kuber Ji.
  • Keep the house and pooja area clean and clutter-free throughout the day.
